The Clique

WOW this book....what to say about this book. There were times when I wanted to throw it against a wall. I was shocked at the way these girls acted towards each other. They were just down right mean and didn't really have a change of heart at the end of the book. I was waiting for some redeeming quality (which they did show on occasion), but overall were just nasty to everyone. Why are these books so popular?

Hey!-
I have read three of these books...I love them! Although I do agree with you these girls are mean, but if you think about it, it is a perfect and well known stereotype, I mean when everyone first thinks about middle they think about bullies. This book shows a great bully and an unexpected one too. Thanks for reading!!!

Hi!
I've read all of the books except for the last one that I am 1/2 way done with. These are some really good books and I can't put them down!! I think people want to know what it feels like to be popular. Everyone wants to be popular like that, but I'm sure not mean as them though! No one's rich enough to be mean like them! SEE YA!!! :D

I loved both of these comments! You are correct...this is a stereotype and it's being magnified for the purpose of humor. Thank you for your comments.

Hello:)
Mmmm.....interesting book. I started the series and ended on the 5th book because I know that the girls are always going to be mean to people and always will go after the "cute guys". I agree with everybody's comments so far because the girls are really, just bullies. They like to get their way and will go as far as they can to get what they want, even if it includes hurting other people. I especially agree with Mrs. Gillis's comment becuase these books seem like they are just being written for the humor of girls being mean to other people. Which really is serious if it is bad enough. See ya later!

OMG - I love these books, I have read all but one of them! They are so good, and interseting. Even though there are a lot of cat fights, the book is still good. Thia book is very real when you think about it. There are always cliques or guys and girls, and sometimes they can be mean. "The Clique" is just the beginning of all the madness, so if you didn't enjoy this one, than don't read anymore!:)

I like this book because it kind of gives insight to how catty girls can be. The mean remarks, the stuff that teachers and parents don't notice...... I think that everyone has someone like that in their life where all the adults love them but they're really just nasty to you.
